Whitefield

I had a lovely chilled time preparing and serving food, on Whitfield St, for London Soup Kitchen. I enjoyed working with the homeless / vulnerable / poor / hungry. All so grateful of food in their belly and service with a smile
I’m doing this not only out of the goodness of my heart. Also to find a way in to a new series regarding my ancestor George Whitefield whom both the street and charity are named after,
Here I show an image of a white poppy, to represent peace, grown on my studio window sill, juxtaposed next to a Whitfield street scene. As an experiment in my Develop Your Creative Practice,  Arts Council Funding
