DYCP update

DYCP Update: I have been working full-time on my practice. Following some fantastic meetings with industry professionals at Offspring Photomeet in May. I'm currently printing a portfolio to show a photo agency in September. I've got an exhibition coming up in October that I'll be announcing shortly. A new chapter of Unbirth of Venus is almost finished and will be sent to several picture editors on completion. I've shot an experimental project, and a sequel to 0void: The Art of Not Having Kids. Whitefield is an agnostic view of my ancestral blood relationship to George Whitefield, who is my maternal 7th Great Uncle. Over 100 days, I grew white poppies in my studio from seed to compost in the summer months to document the cycle of birth, life and death. The White Poppy represents peace and is known to be given out to the public by the Methodist Church for Remembrance Day. Next week I'm off to Birmingham and Gloucester on an Arts Council-funded research trip to introduce myself and photograph two new churches. Today I submitted a proposal to the Fujifilm GFX challenge. I'll share any news on the development of the next stage of the project in September. If all goes to plan, I will be shooting during Lent and Easter next year.
Wish me luck. X
